The Mermaiden's Quest
The Irillian Pools contain enchanted waters that when gazed upon under the full moon, show us our destinies, hearts' desires, quests and sometimes our greatest fears.
Drops of water from the Irillian Pools are collected by the Elves and placed inside pendants made with twisted wood and branches from Feylen trees, adorned with crystals, berries and sealed with tendrils and a spell which freezes the water into a seemingly solid state. This way the possesor of the pendant may look upon the water droplet under the full moon, and have something unique revealed.
The Irillian Pool Drops are a new line of jewellery at Plumevine, each a One of a Kind design.
A swirling play of organic structures carved by hand in resin clay, featuring twisted branches, berries, wood bases and tendrils, are supported in an aqua iridescent stained glass slab. Only small parts of this glass peek through the corners, while a glass bubble sits in the center encasing a found image of a Mermaiden rescuring a young (and handsome)man.
The sculpture has been hand painted with a number of coats and finishes in silvered, Dew Berry Plum, Aquamarine and gold accents, and featues a collection of vintage swarovski rhinestones in aquamarine and rainbow topaz tones.
Faceted czech glass beads in peach and aqua compose the necklace along with draping antiqued copper and silver plated chains.
Underneath a faceted amazonite gemstone tear drops completing the piece.
The necklace can be adjusted to any length between 17.5cm and 21cm.
